The City of Edinburgh Council has been trialling changes to Brunstane Road, and other roads in the Coillesdene area, by the means of a Experimental Traffic Regulation Order (ETRO). They are now advertising a traffic order (TRO) and Road Order (RSO) to make these changes permanent.

You can respond to the traffic order personally, before the deadline of 15 Sep 2023, by email or post. See the instructions at edinburgh.gov.uk/trafficorders and (associated files). Be sure to quote reference number TRO/23/14.
You can respond personally to the RSO (associated files) quoting RSO/23/15.

The community council have previously consulted on the experimental closure (results here), and are looking to gauge if local opinion has shifted during the experimental phase. We are running a simple consultation to inform our response to the Traffic Order (we shall respond to the Road Order using the same data). Our consultation closes 5pm 13 Sep 2023.
