BRUNSTANE AND COILLESDENE AREA – EDINBURGH
PROPOSED ROAD CLOSURE AND TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES
I refer to our previous letter of 17 March 2023 regarding the above.
In accordance with the terms of the Local Authorities’ Traffic Orders (Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 1999, I write to inform you that the City of Edinburgh Council proposes to advertise the Traffic Regulation Order which will introduce a road closure on Brunstane Road (except cyclists) and traffic management measures in the Coillesdene area.
The proposals relating to this Order can be viewed online at the Council website www.edinburgh.gov.uk/trafficorders from 18/08/23 to 15/09/23 or alternatively, free of charge at Waverley Court Reception between 9:30 & 15:30 Monday to Friday during the same period. You can also register for email or text alerts via the Tell Me Scotland portal at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk which also provides details of this proposal.
Should you wish to submit an objection to the proposal, please do so by 15/09/23 quoting notice reference number TRO/23/14 to TRO.consultations@edinburgh.gov.uk or by post to Traffic Orders, Place, 3.3 Waverley Court, 4 East Market Street, Edinburgh EH8 8BG.
All objections should state the name and address of the objector, the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made.
