Do you have any memories, thoughts or positive messages to share about the historic kilns at Bridge Street?

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking grant funding to aid with the rebuilding of the kiln at Bridge Street which was erected in 1906. The kilns are a nationally important historic part of Portobello’s industrial past and are the last remaining examples in Scotland.

Portobello Community Council would like to gather memories, thoughts and positive messages of support for the rebuilding of the kiln to assist in gaining a grant.
