Deadline for the latest round of Community Grant Funds is midnight on 12th June. For more information please read the following from the City of Edinburgh Council.
I’ve had a number of enquiries regarding Community Grants Funds in the North East and South East of Edinburgh. The Community Grants fund in Leith will be voted via PB and applications are expected to open in aug/sep.
Applications can now be submitted to the following funds until midnight on Monday 12th June:
- City Centre
- Liberton and Gilmerton
- Morningside
- Southside and Newington
- Craigentinny and Duddingston
- Portobello and Craigmillar
I am hopeful panels will meet in these areas before August however I encourage you to submit an application for projects that will happen after this time. Funding cannot be issued retrospectively therefore any applications which are submitted for projects which start prior to the panel meeting date will not be considered. I have attached a guidance document which covers eligibility and relevant information for completing the application. Applications can be requested from me via email or downloaded using the above links – each of the bullet points are clickable, once clicked scroll down the page to find the download button.
There have been a number of changes across the departments and we are working hard to amend the paperwork to the correct contacts and dates, applications completed on older forms will be accepted. Please email your application and supporting documents to myself jade.mooney@edinburgh.gov.uk and communitygrantsfund@edinburgh.gov.uk – putting the area of the fund you wish to apply to in the subject line. If you don’t receive an acknowledgement to your submission within 5 working days please contact me to insure we have it.
