Following the Council meeting on the 17 March 2022, a fund has been established to meet the cost of local Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Street Parties over the extended weekend of 2 to 5 June 2022.
Each Community Council has access to £500 and are looking for submissions to distribute to local groups or constitutions. If you or your group are based in the Portobello Community Council area and wish to apply for any money please send the following completed form to secretary@portobellocc.org by Friday 22nd April and we shall go through all applications at the community council meeting on Monday 25th April.

The following information and links may assist the local community groups within your communities in organising street parties to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee
- If they wish to have their street closed to traffic for the party they are holding then they should email events@edinburgh.gov.uk for advice and the application form to get this done is at: https://cultureedinburgh.com/plan-my-event
