The City of Edinburgh Council is looking to work with the community and business owners to explore improvements to the Pipe Lane toilets and surrounding area of the Promenade.

The council’s “Community Wealth Building” process could include a commercial tender with a view to the successful bidders providing enhanced toilet provision and other facilities, including an extension to the building and catering facilities.

Public realm improvements to the area around the toilet block could also form part of the project.
