Bidding groups receiving approval from the Portobello and Craigmillar Neighbourhood Partnership include Joppa Tennis Courts – £500 to purchase a defibrillator; Tribe Porty Youth Theatre Film project – £500 to produce 4-minute short films with young people; Beach Wheelchairs – £500 to purchase a ramp and a portable hoist so users can move more easily from their wheelchairs to the beach wheelchair and Coillesdene Complex Neighbourhood Association – £500 to buy a television for the community room at the Coillesdene Complex Sheltered Housing area.

There is still a small amount of money available for Portobello and Craigmillar constituted groups with a good idea about an event or a project that will benefit their community to apply for.
There are two options available. Groups can bid for up to £1,500.00, or make a smaller bid of up to £500.00 for example to buy a piece of equipment the group needs.
Applications for the remaining funds will close on Friday, 16th February 2018.
