Barratt Homes have published details of their masterplan for Baileyfield South, the site of the former Standard Life buildings.

The proposals include:

• 500 housing units, a mixture of flats, terraced houses, town houses and colonies
• 25% affordable housing (125 units)
• Commercial space
• Primary access from Sir Harry Lauder Road with connections through to Fishwives Causeway
• Maximum height of 6 storeys
• Green spaces and associated landscaping
