Junior and Senior Basketball Season Set for Kick-Off – Saturday, 19 September

City of Edinburgh Basketball Club’s season kicks off this Saturday (19 Sept) with five home games at Portobello High School from 11am and culminates in our top level men’s team facing arch rivals Falkirk Fury in the final clash at 7pm. Entry to all games is free of charge.
11am – Under 16 Women National League: City of Edinburgh Kats v Falkirk Fury
1pm – Under 16 Men National League: City of Edinburgh Kings v Falkirk Fury
3pm – Under 18 Women National League: City of Edinburgh Kats v Falkirk Fury
5pm – Under 18 Men National League: City of Edinburgh Kings v Falkirk Fury
7pm – Senior Men National League: City of Edinburgh Kings v Falkirk Fury
City of Edinburgh Basketball Club is one of Scotland’s biggest and most successful basketball clubs. Based out of Portobello for over 25 years, they are engrained in the local community with many players coming from Portobello High.
We currently have over 300 playing members, with opportunities from Primary 1-3 (Mini Hoops), all the way to senior levels in both local and national leagues. We’re proud to boast London 2012 GB Basketball Olympian Rose Anderson as one of our former players amongst a number of GB and Scottish internationalists.
