Just a quick heads-up that Stage 4 of the Tour of Britain cycle race will be commencing in Edinburgh TOMORROW (Wednesday, 9 Sept).  

 

After a slow paced loop round the city centre, the riders and convoy will start racing on Milton Road by Edinburgh College at about 10:00.  They will be riding to Blyth south of Newcastle and it’ll take them about 6 hours.  Amongst the many big names in the 120 rider peloton, will be Mark Cavendish and Sir Bradley Wiggins.  

 

Some of the local schools have already made arrangements to watch and cheer them as they pass by and you could join in if you want.

 

The event is televised and will be on ITV4  at 19:00.
