I am writing to let you know that the statutory consultation on Options for Proposed Changes to the Catchment Area of Towerbank Primary School commences today, Friday 8 May 2015.  The public consultation period will run until Monday 22 June 2015.

 

The options proposed in the statutory consultation have implications for Towerbank, Brunstane, Duddingston, The Royal High and Craigentinny Primary Schools and for Portobello High School and Leith Academy. 

 

Further information including the full statutory consultation paper, background papers and an online questionnaire are available at www.edinburgh.gov.uk/towerbankconsultation.  Copies of the statutory consultation paper are available for inspection at the Council Offices at Waverley Court, at Portobello Library and at the schools affected by the proposals.

 

Four public meetings will be held in respect of the proposals at the venues, dates and times listed below:

During the consultation period, any views on this proposal should be sent in writing to the address below or by e-mail to cf.propertyreview@edinburgh.gov.uk.   All views, whether by letter, e-mail or using the online questionnaire should be sent by Monday, 22 June 2015. 

Following the conclusion of the public consultation period a report on the Outcomes of the Consultation will be presented to the Council in October 2015 and the report will be made publicly available three weeks before the Council meeting.
