Summary of Planning Applications and Decisions for week commencing 30 March 2015

No new major planning applications in the Portobello area have been submitted or decided in the last week.

The following applications have been decided:

  • 15/01091/LBC permission not required: Removal of 2 partition walls forming a kitchen cupboard (in retrospect), at 39 Bath Street
  • 15/00528/FUL has been granted: New single storey flat roof extension to the rear of property and loft conversion with new dormer to rear, at 53 Joppa Road
  • 15/00468/FUL is permitted development: Convert existing attic into habitable space, install a range of rooflights, at 33A Durham Road
  • 15/00257/FUL has been granted: Alterations and extensions to side and rear of dwellinghouse, formation of front dormer and roof extension to rear, at 67 Durham Square
  • 15/00270/LBC has been granted: Replace the existing dormer timber windows with new double glazed timber windows, at 39 Windsor Place

The following new applications have been submitted:

  • 15/01214/LBC & 15/01215/FUL: Installation of internal air conditioning units into existing ground floor office, at 258 Portobello High Street
