Respondents to a public consultation on proposed permanent beach volleyball courts in Portobello have overwhelmingly backed the plans.

More than 90% of respondents were either in favour or strongly in favour of the proposals put forward by City of Edinburgh Council and the Scottish Volleyball Association.

Portobello Community Council conducted the consultation between 7 and 31 January.
