No new major planning applications in the Portobello area have been submitted or decided in the last week.

The following applications have been decided:

• 14/05160/LBC has been refused: Replace the existing timber windows with like-for-like slimline double glazed timber sash and case windows, at 1F2 37 Bath Street
  
• 14/05244/LBC has been granted: Replace existing windows with slimline double-glazing to the original pattern, plus internal alterations, at 7B Brunstane Road North
