Edinburgh’s budget challenge – your feedback
Thank you to those of you who took part in the budget engagement which closed in December 2014. Over the 11 weeks we received a record level of feedback, more than five times that of last year. This included: • 1,719 responses to the online planner • 782 telephone calls, emails and letters • 145 budget leaflets returned • 524 comments by social media.
You commented on topics such as allotments, early years and adult education, Edinburgh Leisure, library opening hours, public toilets, homelessness and third party grants. These comments and the results of the budget planner are all being carefully considered by Councillors.

Watch the budget decisions being made The budget report was considered by the Finance and Resources Committee on 3 February. The Council will then consider the feedback before making the final budget decisions on 12 February. You can watch these meetings on the Council’s website.
