• Potten Computer School are running a ‘Design a Xmas Card’ competition.
• The Front Room will have 20% off all scarves and hot take-away drinks for just £1:50.
• In-house design will be offering wine and mnce pies. Discounted fabrics for sale.
• Maddie and Marks will be decorating their play area as Santa’s Grotto. Mulled wine for adults and face-painting for the children.
• La Favorita will have their pizza chariot outside Maddie and Mark’s, handing out pizza slices.
• The Mouse Hole Deli will have homemade Christmas mince pies, homemade biscuits and prosecco.
• Mint Indan Takeaway will be offering Indian snacks and 10% off all food orders on the day when you say the magic words – ‘Portobello Street Fest’.
• Lothian Dance Academy will be offering mulled wine or mulled fruit juice for kids. A tour of our dance studios with Xmas lights and a chance to peer into the magic cavern with its twinkle lights and watch the Senior ballarinas dancing with the fairies.
• Friday Street will have 10% off all stock and wlll be offering wine and ‘puffy tooties’.
• The Velvet Easel Gallery will serve wine and nibbles on the night; every customer will have the opportunity to leave their contact details at point of purchase with the chance to be entered into a prize draw to win £50 worth of Velvet Easel Gallery vouchers to spend in January 2015.
• BG Cycles: 10% off everything between 5:30 and 8 pm.
• The Fine Wine Shop will be inviting you to sample a selection of wine and cheeses.
• The Skylark are showing ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ on the screen, silent in the background. Mulled wine on the go and free mince pies. Registered as a drop-off point for ‘Mission Christmas Cash for Kids’ charity. Charity raffle with cool, funky prizes. Home-made gingerbread biscuit for kids to decorate.
• Along at Cafe Quench at the Baptist Church, you wlll have the opportunity to dress up in a nativity scene and have pictures taken, which you can download from the internet later. Coffee and cake for a donation for Ebola appeal. And they will be hiding baby Jesus along the High Street. Prize for person who finds the most.
• Wild Flower Shop: German mulled wine and biscuits
• COVE: chocolates and cheese sables. They will also have goodie bags for children and a mini-sale table
• Favers will re-open at 6.15pm and offer hot chocolate and Xmas biscuits for kids for £1.50. Disney characters, movies and madness all the way.
• Mark Smith Glazing: 15% discount on new doors and windows ordered and fitted in January and February 2015. Come in for a chat with nibbles and fizz.
• Demi’s Florist will be celebrating Christmas Cypriot-style with ouzo and Greek meze. There will also be a free raffle of a Xmas hamper and any orders taken that evening for Xmas will get a 10% discount.
• Malvarosa – Just say the magic words ‘Street Fest’ to receive a fantastic 20% discount on your bill.
• St Andrews Restaurant: 20% discount on restaurant meals.
• Earthy is offering a selection of discounts, chance to sample of some of our amazing Organic cheeses that will be around for Christmas. Orders taken for Christmas Birds and Beast orders. East Lothian Organic Christmas veg boxes can also be ordered, ready for collection from Earthy Portobello in the days before Christmas.
• At CashBrokers, Dave and Stephen will happy to chat over a glass of wine and nibbles and there is 10% off all jewellery.
• At the Coast – 15% off gift vouchers between 5 and 8 pm when you say those magic words ‘Street Fest’.

• A449 Architects will be open for the Christmas Street Fest so please pop in to 23 Morton Street for espresso and mince pies. Visitors will also get a voucher for 20% off our fees if we are appointed for your project between 01 January and 31 March 2015.
