Summary of Planning Applications and Decisions for week commencing 27 October 2014

No new major planning applications in the Portobello area have been submitted or decided in the last week.

The following minor applications have been decided:

  • 14/03927/LBC no permission required: Remove 2 timber casement windows from rear outshoot and replace with timber casement, double-glazed windows, at 14 East Brighton Crescent
  • 14/03655/FUL has been granted: Change of use to beauty and tanning salon from laundrette with internal alterations and new external signage,
    at 62 Portobello High Street
  • 14/03656/LBC, 14/03657/ADV have been granted: Internal alterations to change a shop from a launderette to a beauty salon with new external signage, at 62 Portobello High Street
  • 14/03025/LBC has been granted: Internal alterations to form access stair into basement, at 292 Portobello High Street
  • 14/02926/FUL has been granted: Erection of new house including conversion of existing garage into bedroom, at 27 Seaview Terrace
  • 14/02353/FUL has been granted: Form sunroom to rear of dwellinghouse, at 19 Coillesdene Crescent

The following new applications have been submitted:

  • 14/03923/FUL: Alter front entrance driveway and gardens, create additional path to 19/19a. Redesign driveway/parking area and provide for a sloping entrance pathway, at 19 Abercorn Terrace
  • 14/04246/TCO: Permissions required to crown and lift large Leyland Cypress and remove early-matured Ash, at 11 West Brighton Crescent
