Participatory Budgeting Survey

Posted on: August 7th, 2014

The Scottish Community Development Centre (SCDC)  – Participatory budgeting is recognised internationally as a way for local people to have a direct say in how, and where, public funds can be used to address local requirements. The Scottish Government supports participatory budgeting as an innovative tool for community engagement.

To develop SCDC’s  knowledge of participatory budgeting in Scotland, the Scottish Government is funding a one day learning event, hosted by SCDC, Faith in Community Scotland and The PB Network to learn from those who have previously been involved in participatory budgeting.

In advance of the learning event, they would like to know more about existing and previous participatory budgeting initiatives in Scotland. In view of this, it would be very helpful if you could complete a short survey to help them develop participatory budgeting in Scotland.

More information on the event will be sent in due course, and this survey is an opportunity to indicate your interest in attending.
